Is it okay to have pass/fail class grade in transcript to apply for medical school?

Hello, I am taking one Woman study class which is not directly related to the medical field or major.
However, this instructor is salty to give a good grade and I am thinking to change to pass or fail grade.
Does it harm my transcript to put it? or is it better to put it as a grade scale (ex.. 3.5 or 3.2)

Thank you

Taking this non-prerequisite as a P/F class will not hurt you in the med school application process.

I encourage premeds to take courses out of their comfort zone. Enjoy learning something that does not come easy to you. And if you go to a school like Brown, it is easy to take a course P/F and it is strongly encouraged and students have lots of time in their curriculum to take interesting courses taught by real, full professors in areas they know nothing about. In fact, a good many intro writing English courses and even intro chem and intro calc are mandatory P/F at Brown.

At a school like Tufts, they do not allow any courses that count for a distribution requirement or language requirement or for a major to be taken P/F. And since they have sooo many requirements, there is little opportunity to take anything P/F. So do make sure that you can still graduate if you take certain courses P/F if your school is like Tufts.

Though they might care about a single "F" so make sure you pass the class; the OP shouldnt pepper their salty instructor with questions and make sure they spend sufficient thyme in studying
Trying to spice up the thread? And here I was thinking that you dispensed sage counsel.

Might be best just to chill and have a mint julep, or smoke some herb. I guess I'm just going to have to handle you gingerly. And if you're thinking "Says who?", well, sesame.

I took a high lvl chem course (computational chemistry) P/F. Nobody cared or asked me about it and I got to take a rly useful and interesting class without worrying about acing the exams. Recommend.
