Will a school allow you to defer you admission if you havent finished the pre-requistes?

different schools have different policies regarding deferments, check on the pharmCAS pages.... but if you are accepted somewhere and don't finish the prereqs, i'm guessing you'd have to reapply.

usually, if u havent finished the pre-reqs they wont accept you that u. u have to reapply the following year.

also, most schools do not let you defer admissions for any reason.

i have a friend who got accepted to ut austin last year but then deferred her admission by a year because she was only a semester away from finishing her b.s. and was a little unsure if pharmacy is what she wants to do for the rest of her life. she ended up deciding not to go but otherwise she would have started pharm school in fall 06 even though she was admitted for fall 05.

She is defer because she want to finish her BS not because she doesnt finish her prereq.
