I am an internist and did my residency 1 year back. Also an IMG and not so high usmle scores. Is there any chance of me getting into plastics? If yes then how to go about it? and Whats the best way to do it?

I will chime in as an MS for what it is worth. Others in your situation have worked in labs for 2-3 years with an influentuial figure in plastic surgery and then tried to match. It is not always successful but it appears to work. Some names of people with a strong research interest and a powerful voice include Losee, Longaker, and Steve Warren. If this does not get you directly in, it may halp to procure a general surgery postion which can lead to PRS.
