Long story short I screwed myself over and my apps won't be complete for another week or two. I know this is already really late, but is it too late/ what are my chances?

sciGPA 3.44 cGPa 3.61 MCAT 27 (9,9,9)
applied broadly

do not waste your time right now.....be ready and apply day 1 next cycle as your gpa is good and your mcat is mediocre

maybe do a retake if you have a c-d grade but you should be good

Don't bother with this cycle. Please don't think it's the end of the world to take a gap year, I actually recommend it to anyone I can. The gap year feels AMAZING. Make sure over the next 6 months you seriously, SERIOUSLY spice up that application/resume of yours. Volunteer, shadow, work in a hospital, do something interesting like an alternative spring break, stay ACTIVE, maybe even research if you have an opportunity available to you. Make sure you have a ton of notable things you can add to that resume of yours. Most importantly, your application should be sent in DAY 1 next cycle, absolutely no ifs, ands, or buts.

I applied after my senior year, so I'm already on a gap year and I'm not enjoying it. Is there really no chance for this cycle?

There's no real harm in applying and trying for this cycle if you can afford it, other than your status as a reapplicant, which really isn't a big deal. But you're basically applying for waitlist spots at higher tier schools, possibly for some remaining seats at lower tier schools. Your options will be limited. If you apply day one next cycle, you'll have a great shot at an acceptance.

Apply to any in-state DO programs...it shouldn't cost you much and who knows. But immediately after, you need to work prepping for 2016. And more importantly, you need to be more prepared next time around.

it's too late for your stats, like others have said. apply appropriately and early next cycle and you will have multiple II

Idk if its impossible, but its probably too late. Like others have said, take a gap year (or another if you already took one) and apply early next cycle. Hate to give bull**** statistics, but practically 99% of the people I have been interviewing with have taken gap years. I know it may seem like the end of the world in the beginning, but its totally worth it (assuming you get a good job and don't sit on the couch all day).

Best of luck.

Your GPA and MCAT look okay. But it is incredibly late to apply at this time.

It all depends on if you can afford the application. I know a friend that applied in January (primary) and filled out the secondaries as soon as he got them (he may have had some already written). He submitted them, interviewed in ~March, and got accepted to RVU-COM and PNU-COM. His MCAT was quite a bit better than yours, but had a lower GPA.

If you're willing to go anywhere, you might get lucky to interview and be accepted somewhere. Most likely an interview would yield a wait list, but you could get lucky and get off it. You should not bother to apply to any of the "better" campuses like CCOM/Western/PCOM/NYCOM/NSU/etc. and should stick to places like ATSU-SOMA/TU-NV/PNWU/PCOM-GA/etc.

Eh. I applied in February last cycle and got accepted with similar stats (worse GPA, better MCAT.) I think there isn't any harm in trying except for the fact that apps are expensive. Message me if you have any questions.

Wow, congrats. Were there any special circumstances? Like, the school you got into was your state school and you used to do research there, etc etc

I was complete just this week at those schools that require a physician letter (most do) because my DO letter writer took forever, arrrrrgh

No, I just applied late because (same as you) my DO letter writer took forever. I only applied to 4 schools, interviewed at 1, and was accepted pending an open seat (which is different than wait listed) and decided to defer my acceptance to 2015.
