I just received my new MCAT scores: 12BS 10VR 9BS = 31O. I have already submitted secondaries to 10 schools (5 MD, 5 DO) with my previous score of 25P. But now that I have entered the MD-competitive score bracket (and I didn't expect to!), I would like to add 2 to 4 more MD schools. Since we're into early September now, would it still be worth it? Or should I save the money and hope for the best with the current 10 schools?

How bad do you want to get into a school this cycle? If you don't mind reapplying, then leave it be. But if you are set on getting in this year, do yourself a favor and apply to a few more schools (read: 10 more) lol 🙂

Also check the schools you're interested in the school specific section and check their interview dates to determine how many dates are left and how many invites have gone out!

Thanks for the advice all. Call me picky, but I cannot think of more than 12 schools I'd actually like to attend. So, I applied to only 2 more. 😳

Luckily, these 12 schools range from WVSOM (average MCAT = 24) to Dartmouth (average MCAT = 34), and include my 2 in-state schools. :xf:

Good luck this cycle!👍
