Idaho State has a PharmD/MBA program. It's possible to graduate with both at the same time, but it's a lot of work. Three of my friends (two in my class, one in the class above me) are currently in the combined program. They are really stellar students, but I still have no idea how they have time to take all of our normal pharmacy classes plus 1-2 upper division business courses each semester. They also have to take summer courses.
If I had any inclination to go into upper management I'd consider doing the MBA. Like other posters have said, extra education can never hurt you - it can only help you get ahead of the rest of the pack.
Edit: I thought that I would add that of the three students I know in this program, two of them have undergrad degrees in business or economics. One of them is also the daughter of the owner of a local grocery store chain, so she's getting the MBA with the intent of being able to take over the entire pharmacy division when she graduates. The third person is our APhA-ASP president, on the executive board of my school's Phi Delta Chi chapter and is also active in school-wide government. The first two (with business B.A.'s) also have two kids each. Talk about super-students!
