Is it worth putting something you volunteered for about 40-50 hours on your application?

there's a couple clinics and such that I have volunteered with, the thing is theyre typically once a month, so I don't have many hours there, but they still allow for good exposure to patients and have been meaningful experiences. Would it be disregarded if it's listed with like 50 hours or less?

Is it all the same type of experience? Because you could potentially combine the hours and combine the experiences for AMCAS? And then in your description explain that it was the same volunteering at different sites?

If it was impactful, go ahead and list it. You've got more hours than the typical spring break alternatives provide, which applicants include despite the brevity of the activity.

I would lump them under one section and include the names of the locations in the description. However, just because an activity is 50 hours does not mean it is not worth putting on your application.

I would include it as long as you adequately describe the activity. I think if you list the activity and explain it somewhat like you did here, "Though this clinic only opened to the public once a month, the experiences I had working with patients were very meaningful to me because XYZ," it can be a positive part of your application. In my experience, the way that you present your activities is critical, because a stellar applicant can seem flat on paper, and someone who is slightly above average, with an exceptional way of presenting themselves, can really stick out.

This is what I would do.
