Like even if you didn't write the paper itself, but if your lab uses the experiments you did is that considered being published?

1st author is best. 2nd author is 2nd best. and so on. your name needs to be on the paper.

If your name is on the paper, you're published. I'm about to get my 3rd paper published soon. Although I'm only the 5th author on this one, it's still a publication.
