I have 23 AA, 20 TS, 21 PAT and 3.4 GPA
I was expecting an interview invitation from USC but seems like not even an interview for me (I'm from LA and love to stay here). I applied kinda late, in November. I thought my stats are ok. I interviewed at UCSF and BU, but no replies yet. I'm just so frustrated.........Should I retake the DAT to raise my science score?

Well I think you know the answer to your question already. You know your stats are high.

Having said that...

Definitely retake the DATs, you should get 24+ to get into USC

LOL. I'm still waiting for USC too. They said its cause they have too many applicants this year.

Your stats are just fine. If anything is holding you back, its the timing of your application. If things dont work out for you this cycle, apply early and you will have plenty of options to choose from.

I've sent e-mail to Ryan and he said USC is sending out more interview invitation for next two or three weeks. so I guess we still have slim chance.

it's definitely the timing. i'll be there next fall, and i have a lower DAT than you, but slightly higher GPA (3.52).... but it's definitely the timing that didn't get you an interview yet... good luck!

Are you kidding... 24+ is a ridiculous score that would get you in to any school. Your stats are great, just apply earlier next year

Yes I am kidding 😳

what if you applied really early but u still haven't heard from them? have they filled their class, and if not, how much longer does their application process run? except for about the same GPA, my DAT are not as high as the OP.

lol. lighten up 🙂

ok, seriously though (for those who actually care about USC):
i recently talked to them, and the interview invites that they are sending out are to those students who have a +3.4. Also, if you applied early (before sep) and you still haven't recieved an interview, you probably won't be getting one. the new interview invites are being sent to really competitive late applicants or to those who did the academic update and improved dramatically.

Have you got a US degree or, at least getting one b4 this fall? Also, how've your shadowings been going and more importantly did you role play with someone else prior to each interview?

I got a BS degree in 05 spring in mechanical engineering from UC and I've had about 50 hours of shadowing experience.
