I'm just putting together my schedule for next quarter and would prefer to take the Calculus series online. I know medical schools won't accept certain classes taken online. Is Calculus one of them?

There are plenty of med schools that don't require Calculus specifically, but do require college math of some sort. If you want the Calculus to count toward your prerequisites, taking it online is risky, unless you are sure of the policies of all your target schools.

In person is obviously better, but I took my calculus II course online due to a scheduling conflict and got into several schools. Not a deal breaker. The poster above is correct, statistics will be more helpful.

It depends on the medical school. I would recommend contacting the admissions office as they have probably answered this question several times. At the end of the day, it is what you know that matters and not how you got that knowledge.

Maybe blended would be considerably better for you then?
