hello again, now i have a question if pharmacy schools accept students that can only take classes bit by bit? because im currently an active duty member for the AF...

and since im not staying permanent on 1 base(im currently stationed at south carolina) i was wondering if i can transfer all my stuff to a new school?

or do they strictly require full-time students only?

There was a thread on this earlier and people said you must be a full-time student in pharmacy school. It would be highly unlikely that you could switch pharmacy schools because the curriculums differ between schools. For example, you might take Class A in the fall at School A, but School B gives that class in the spring instead. That would be a huge nightmare! Very rarely is a person allowed to transfer.

You should look into how the AF might help you get through pharm school. I'm not positive, but I think you can attend pharm school even as an active member. Worth looking into anyways.

I was in the Army and they had a program for you to go back and specialize in a health field or law and they would pay, but then you would be obligated to serve in the Army for each year you accept the scholarship so if you go to a four year program, then you owe them four years. Go to your education center and ask they should have some information.

hmm thanks for the tip, i'll try to visit them soon, im trying to be commissioned or if all else fails.... separate from the service in 5 years and use my GI bill to study

If you do pharmacy while in the military as soon as you graduate, you are commissioned as a Captain.

What rank do you get if you join them after graduation with no previous military experience?

You also get the rank of captain because your are considered a doctor. The same with medical students if they go in after graduating from medical school you get commissioned as a captain. If your considering going to the military after graduation talk to a recruiter cause they will pay your tuition while in school.
