just got a paper back with a "revise and resubmit" from a good journal. the changes they want seem pretty minor, and easily satisfied. it's not an "accepted" paper, for sure. but as far as ERAS, can I list this as "Accepted provisional", or is it still just "submitted"? obviously I'd prefer to list the former if possible.

Thoughts?

You can list it as submitted. It has not been accepted. Writing "Accepted Provisional" is stretching the truth and if asked about it on your interviews it will look very bad if it gets rejected.
