1. Compared to Goldmann, it would decrease the time spent with the doctor / increase the time spent with the tech, which usually is worth it in the long run (assuming doctor time is more limiting since doctor time is so much more valuable). If you normally stain all patients and don't completely suck at Goldmann, it's not that much of a difference, like 15-30 seconds per. If you don't normally stain, then it saves a bit more time.
2. Patients greatly prefer it to NCT. Patients HATE NCT; a lot of offices with iCare advertise that they don't do the puff test. NCT and DFE are the two things patients hate most about eye exams, so eliminating one is good. Compared to Goldmann, it depends. Most patients don't really mind it, but there are some that keep creeping their head back no matter what, in which case iCare is usually easier.
