Is there a benefit to applying for an intern license in a state you *may* end up practicing?

Just a basic question - is there any benefit to applying for an intern license in a state that I may be practicing? Currently at a school in New England so I really could end up in any of 6-8 states around here.

Thanks!

Thank you! I didn't know if it would help facilitate the licensing process by chopping down on your wait time or something.

Actually, it might if you need a certain number of hours worked as an intern and you can report them ahead of time. But nothing significant.
