Is there a Community Colleg Credit Limit and are there consequences to exceeding

Originally, I went to a community college, transferred to a 4-year university (liberal arts degree, so no pre-dental courses yet), and plan on going back to community college to start and finish the pre-dental requirements there. I already have 100 or so units at community college, and I read there is a limit of 60-70 units at some schools.

Even if I decide to attend community college for financial issues, is it a lost cause considering that there is a limit?

Has anyone been accepted to Dental school by this route?

The more sciences credits from your university, the better. I'm in the same boat, I'm finishing up my two years at my tech college but I could continue and take more classes there and save thousands of dollars. However, taking the classes at the university will be much more beneficial going forwards. Kind of blows, especially because I attend an amazing tech college who's college transfer credits transfer better than credits from the other colleges within our university system.
