Is there a deadline by which you must only hold one acceptance?

thanks 👍

may 15

edit: after a quick search, it appears the may 15 rule only applies to MD schools. So, theoretically, you could hold 2 DO acceptances up until orientation (if you are a dick lol). AACOMAS should get their act together with this; the lack of a deadline could definitely screw over people on waitlists

Whoever is holding two DO acceptances must have a lot bank lol

AACOMAS does not regulate acceptances, so that's why DO schools charge exorbitant deposits to discourage people from holding more than one acceptance.

Whether these large deposits should be refundable is another question.

tnx for replies...this truly sucks!!

Yeah there's no deadline to give up all DO acceptances but one. Consequently, I know someone who was accepted to a DO school three hours prior to the white coat ceremony. Completely nuts!
