I'm a tad bit confused about timing. I just took the 6/16 MCAT and I'm getting ready to submit my application on june 21st. However, I don't know what my MCAT score is going to be and it's going to ultimately decide what schools I apply to. Should I only include 1 med school as of now to get my application verify?

I'm confused about one thing. Is there an advantage to including more schools right now? Does my app get sent to med school only after it's been verified and has a MCAT score? If that's the case, it seems like I could just wait it out before picking med schools.

Also, do med schools put my app on queue only after they have received everything (LOR included) or do they sometimes start putting it on queue before LOR comes in.

1) Yes.
2) No.
3) Most schools will not consider your application until it is complete (including letters). There are only a handful of exceptions.

The only "advantage" that I can think of is that you might get secondaries from schools that send them before your app is verified. That's not much of an advantage though since you can get any pertinent information from the school-specific threads.

ohh, but do schools send out secondaries without knowing your mcat score? i thought secondaries are sent out after they prescreen you based on like undergrad school, gpa and mcat.
