I'm from a low-income family. I have no money to pay for dental school. I'm in my gap year and I'm applying to dental school this cycle.

The 2015 application cycle for National Health Service Corps Scholarship (NHSCS) is now over. Is there a government-funded alternative to NHSCS that I can apply to before/during dental school and work as a dentist in an underserved community?

I know if you work for Native American clinics they help you with debt but I'm not sure about applying and everything else about it. Military HPSP.

If you are applying to dental school this cycle, you can apply for the NHSC this coming March. You must have an acceptance to dental school before you can be considered for the NHSC anyway.

If you're willing to serve in the military, there is, as @uhds said, a military scholarship offered by the Air Force, the Navy, and the Army.
