Is there an error in this AAMC question?

When I do the scientific notation using the formula f=Av, I get this:

f=(o.3*10^-3 m/s)(2.5*10^4 microm^2) = (3*10^-1*10^-3)(25*10^-1*10^4) = (75*10^-4)(10^3)

How the hell did they get 10^6 in the answer??? This is driving me crazy

The answer is in micrometers. So convert 0.30 mm/s to micrometers--which is 300 micrometers/s (or 3x10^2 micrometers/s). I hope this helps.
