What is the best way to respond to a question like this?

Other than an opportunity to discuss IAs or criminal record or inconsistent numbers etc, what things could you bring up? Is it bad to say nothing?

If there's something really special about you that you didn't get the chance to talk about, you can bring that up here. In one interview where we really did have a thorough conversation about me, I used this as an opportunity to say "I guess I'd really just like to re-emphasize how much I love your school for x, y, z reason" -- I got accepted!

Not exactly the same question but I was once asked: Is there anything you wanted to talk about that I haven't asked you about?

I had spent a lot of time getting my research story together but didnt get a chance to talk about it. So I talked about it and my interviewer was impressed with how passionate I was about research. (First thought it was a bad thing) But then he continued on how he noticed how I was passionate about all the things I do and that he hopes that I bring that passion to medical school. (Got accepted)

My recommendation is talk about something you are really passionate about. Or you could look at the school in specific and see if there's anything that sticks out.

it's the same question "tell me about yourself" and you don't know whether to tell your life story in a nut shell or your boring undergraduate grind that will impress no one lol.

I had an interview where this let me talk about something that hadn't come up yet. I got it at another where I touched on everything I wanted to so I just said nope lol. Worked out both times
