ok, here's my situation. I am on the wait list which I know if 10 more people are taken off the list, I would be one of them. Do I have a chance? I need a beer.

Based on the timeline, I would say that it is unlikely and that you shouldn't hold your breath waiting. However, to be absolutely sure, I would recommend that you contact the particular institution you are waitlisted on and express your interest in attending the institution. If you are planning to reapply in the interim, you should start focusing on that instead; if you do end up being accepted, it will be icing on the cake. (And really, if you are accepted, you won't really care about throwing away application money...it's a drop in the water compared to what you will be saving from another year's worth of applying)

How big is the class at your school? If it is around 120 or something, then you have a very small possibility. If it is around 65, then you probably need to plan not to be in pharmacy school this year.

There is always hope, but for you I'd say it is not a very slim one. I know one girl who got into my class of the waiting list, and she got the call in mid-July, but she was the only one off the list to be invited.

next 2 weeks will be the moment of truth.
