Is this an extenuating circumstance?

Hi, i'm currently finishing up my UOP supp. app and there is a section that has you list any extenuating circumstance. Should I mention not having taken physics and calculus in HS as an exlanation for my subpar performance in those classes and then mention how I have since rebounded and performed well in my science courses? Or is this section specifically for people who have instances where, say they have to support themselves through school or certain family emergencies or whatnot?

😳 .. heh.. I just wasn't sure, I wasn't trying to do be sneaky or anything, I just feel kind of weird leaving that section blank.
