MD Is this feasible?

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
It's not impossible to get in with a 3.33 s/3.66 c, though it's a bit of an uphill battle. You can use google to search % applicants accepted by GPA/MCAT. The SDN LizzyM calculator is one example of this, and see for yourself what you think would be feasible. Also a strong upward trend is always great! You'll want to make sure your MCAT score is strong, and probably be open to DO schools.

As long as you are willing to consider DO schools you should receive interviews if your MCAT score is at least 500.

Are there any MD schools I may potentially have a chance at with these stats? Perhaps somewhere like Howard that, while popular, has an average matriculant GPA of roughly 3.4?

Generally speaking, I'd say I'm a fairly good test taker. My national exam scores throughout nursing school thus far have been close to or above the 98th percentile, which is consistent with most of my prior standardized test scores. I'm sure this doesn't in any way indicate that I'd necessarily score high on the MCAT, but I plan to allocate several months solely to prepare for it to prevent my score from being another obstacle.

Where is your state of residence ? Are you URM ? For MD schools you will need a MCAT of 508 or higher to have a reasonable chance for interviews but your state of residence is a large factor.

Come back when you have an MCAT score and then we can properly advise. But there definite;y are MD schools (and all DO) that reward reinvention.

California. I'm a mix of a few South/Southeast Asian ethnicities and an eighth Spanish, not sure if anywhere would consider that URM.

Nope.
So count out Howard, Morehouse, and Meharry.

Good luck on the MCAT but dont count out DO.
