Do DO schools typically have non-refundable deposits to hold your acceptances? I was accepted to a couple schools and noticed they all had non-refundable deposits to hold your seat. Considering the high price of the deposit, is it customary for schools to not offer at least a partial refund if you do not matriculate?

No refunds of any amount. All DO schools have an expensive deposit to hold your seat. The good news is that it is applied toward your tuition - so it just doesn't go poof.

Most are expensive but some are reasonable (almost all aren't).

Yes they are non refundable. Put a deposit on the school you plan on attending. If you don't go there you will lose the money.
