Is it true that BU will accept only ece from this year and not WES????

Hi Krishna,

I think it is true, because after I saw your thread, I went to the BU website and there it is very clear that we have to have our GPA only from ECE.
Is there anybody who knows this for sure?

u are right- BU now only accepts ECE evaluation! maybe they have been reading these threads and know that WES makes a big jump in GPA for many people!! 🙂)

they also have a new fee for permanent residents and GC holders. their fee is 60$ while the rest of us have to pay 90$.

The new fee is the application fee right?..Is there a difference between the tution fees between GC holders,permamant residents & the rest of us? 😱

guys, is there any other changes in their requirements as they are stated on their website? please inform us if there is another change.
let me write down what i know :
1. 90$
2. transcripts original and translated both notarised.
3. diplomas ============================
4. NBDE 1 , 85
5. toefl 250.
6. three letters of recommendation.
7. SOP.

If they have that attitude towards non residents as early as in the application fee, chances are they'll mantain the same attitude throughout the rest of the application and admission process. Meaning= if you're a non resident don't keep you hopes high with BU.

This worries me 🙁 ..I had high hopes on this university since the fee structure is less compared to california schools...Why should they start doing this from this year(I guess it's my bad luck!) 👎
