Hey everyone! Just wanted to get some opinions about whether the following information is update-worthy.

1. I have been working as a full-time medical scribe for 3 months. Not mentioned on primary, and only mentioned in gap year essay on secondaries (with no hours). Now, I have 500 hours of scribing for a family medicine doctor.
2. In March, I co-founded a volunteer online tutoring organization in response to COVID. This was mentioned on my primary app (250 hrs) and gap year essay. It's been like a part-time job, with ~2.5 to 3 hrs/day of work. The organization has grown from 160 tutors and 160 students in June to 480 tutors and 500 students now. Our organization was also featured in Live TV news, and we have multiple partnerships with other tutoring organizations and universities. Now, I have 620 hrs in this activity and have been running things solo, since my co-founder started graduate school.

Would appreciate any feedback!

If schools have an update option on their website/portal, does that constitute "welcoming updates"? Or should we look for a statement somewhere that says "Please send us any updates to your application!"

Ideally, look for an affirmative statement, but having an update portal is a positive sign to me.

should we also email schools that haven't sent us confirmation emails from uploading on the portal to make sure they saw it and added it to our files?

some schools (Harvard for example) have limits on number of updates. Please check before uploading.
