Is tufts med research oriented school?

I did a lot of basic/translation research and I am wondering if this school is into such research? I'm guessing maybe not as much as Harvard but is the school at least leaning toward it?

According to MSAR, Tufts has $25,360,838 of extramural funding. That's on par with Drexel, a bit less than U VM and Rush.

So, there's some there, but not much. In contrast, BU hes about 5-6x that much funding, Temple has close to 3x.
