To make a long story short, I have been living in NYC for 8 yrs.
I used to have H-4 but as I turned to age of 21, I changed my status as international student (F1).
I did it just to avoid "illegal satus". But now with my F-1 status, state schools in NY wouldnt offer me "in-state tuition".
According to NYS law, state offers in-state tuition for those students who graduated HS in NYS, even though they are undocumented.
For me, I graduated middle shool, high school, and college in NYS.
And both of my parents recently recieved a permanent residency. (They have been paying tax since 1999 .)
Is there any way I get qualified for in-state tuition??
If I choose to become undocumented student, can I take NBDE and get my license?? (I have SSN and I got accepted to SUNY school)
