Any experience using recruiters? I'm a recent grad in Chicago moving back home to Cleveland. I'm finding so many job postings are part-time, per diem, PRN, current employees only, or home health (which I'm reluctant to do as a new grad). I would generally not consider a recruiter but it seems some facilities make use of them. Pros? Cons?

Yes, use a recruiter, why not?
I used one as a new grad unsuccessfully because I wanted part-time, outPatient ortho in a specific area of town and they just didn't have it.

Pros: free to you, they have database of jobs, maybe your ideal job?
Cons: could be less desirable jobs that are harder to fill? They might pressure you to take a job since they get commission for placements.

Use multiple recruiters for better results but be ready for your phone to be ringing off the hook.

word of caution if you do use multiple recruiters. do not allow them to spam your resume. you don't want an clinic/hospital to get two applications from you. but i see no drawback in using a recruiter.

I'm using a recruiter now! I'll let ya know how it goes! Haha. 😛🙂
