cortisol and aldosterone produced from progesteron...
this is from decks too

It Was In One Of Hormones Decks In Biochemistry As A Note Under A Table Of Hormones Of Adrenal Glands

Can U Please Help Me With The Regulation Of Insulin And Glucagon...
How They Are Stimulated And Inhibited ..
Thanks Alot

I am not quite sure what u r looking for here. But here is a brief overview:
Insulin release is stimulated by low blood glucose levels and Glucagon's stimulation would be viceversa. The main factor determining the actions/effects of these 2 hormones is the blood glucose level. These hormones in a normal physiological situation try to maintain homeostasis of the blood glucose levels. Let me knof if this is too vague.

2. how does glucagon, cortisol , cholecystokinin increase the release of insulin?..according to decks
and at the same time glucagon secretion is inhibited by insulin😕

I too think agree with skabbaraju. All 3-glucagon cortisol & CCK either increase bl.glucose level or act [CCK] when bl.glucose levels are high. This will cause insulin to be released into the blood in an otherwise healthy individual. So when glucagon is more, insulin is naturally secreted & inhibits it.Hope it is clear !!

1.Parasympathetic
increases stimulation from alpha cells and beta cells islets of langerhans.

how could it be and both cells secrete hormone with opposite action...i mean glucagon and insulin

2. how does glucagon, cortisol , cholecystokinin increase the release of insulin?..according to decks
and at the same time glucagon secretion is inhibited by insulin😕

can someone help

hi i think i can try this one
see, parasympathetic system is 'read and digest' system which means all the normal functions, may be opp to each other are controlled by pns.
so both secretion of glucagon and insulin which are secreted together in a normal individual are stimulated by pns
plz correct me if i am wrong!!!!!!!!1
