This is a two-in-one call for help!

I'm looking for resources to find a mixed practice externship. AAEP and AVMA job listings are not helpful, as they are geared toward equine exclusive and small animal exclusive practices, respectively. Does anyone have leads on a source for finding mixed practice postings?

I am also struggling with pharmacology and would like to take some time over the summer to supplement my (lack of) knowledge in that area. Does anyone have an good video resources? I'm not so much looking for flashcards but concise lecture-like material or maybe tables or books? I'm sure I could google, but I thought I'd ask for people's favorites!

Thanks in advance!

There may be a couple of the vet-specific Facebook groups that allow students to be members. Many require you to have graduated, but I can think of at least one bovine/large animal one which is open to students and people sometimes ask about rotation sites or places advertise openings. I’d also check AABP, AASRP, and all the other relevant groups to see if they have listings. My school also maintained a list of alumni who were available for internships we could look through if we didn’t have leads.

How far west coast are you looking? How many weeks and approximately when? Do you need housing and if so does it need to be pet friendly?
Bovine vet to vet on FB is open to students and has a running chat list going. However, I'm in CO not sure if that is far enough west for what you're thinking. Otherwise I have some connections in ID/WA/OR/NV/AZ/AK/HI/WY/MT/UT area from classmates

For pharmacology like what specific holes are you trying to fill? If you're looking to go into gp and thinking you're lacking MOA knowledge I wouldn't sweat it too much. Plumbs is amazing for interaction info, dosing, side effects, etc the things you'll use on the daily
