It seems many schools interview invite very quickly after being completed?

at least it seemed that way from the thread where peiople were posting the dates odf completion and then invites.

How high are the stats of those people?

How long does it take for them (on average) to complete an app after sending in your secondaries if your transcript and LOR are already sent in?

if you're really curious, you should PM the ppl with quick turnaround times and ask for their stats. i imagine they're really high. another way to look at it is to count how many interviews they have and from where. if the institution has a rep for looking at high numbers, the applicant probably has high numbers.

The later in the season it gets, the slower the turnaround time. Adcoms can't keep up with the pace of the applications. Early on, they don't have any backlogged, so they get through. Later on, however, they have quite a few files on hand yet to be worked...

Especially right after the August scores come out, since a lot of people wait until then to even send their application.

The turnaround between secondary completion and an interview invite also depends on the type of application. E.g., it seems like most Early Decision applicants to Minnesota were invited for interviews the same day they completed the online secondary. It had less to do with stats than with schedule: the committee has an absolute deadline to render a decision. If you figure two weeks' time for the committee to look over files, everything has to be done no later than September 17th. They probably aren't in such a hurry for non-Early Decision applicants.
