Dumb question- How do you italicize things on the AADSAS application?

If you are doing the online application from my opinion the above advice is fruitless. If you cut from word it will only submit the words and characters not the style or size. You can try it, but I will almost guarantee that it won't work. AADSAS isn't that advance yet, but it follows other "field" applications online that I have encountered before. I cut and pasted my application, not to get the italized effect but to be quicker. I don't think there is an option to italicizing.

    Hope this helps,

So it will look ok if I write a genus and species and it is not italicized?

    Beagle,

I think the ADCom will understand. I would make sure and capitalize Genus though.

i think underlining the genus and species would due in lieu of the lack of ability of the on-line app to italicize...
