So I recently got my ITE score (I'm a PGY3) and am a little bummed. I scored around 170 last year (as a PGY2) but dropped to 150 this year. I did about average PGY1 and about average on my steps. I'm not sure what to make of it. I don't think I lost any knowledge. I'd hate to blame it on being tired from a long block of PICU since I don't think I was that tired. Needless to say it has been good motivation for my board studying. Thanks.

I think quite a few of the people from my class had a score drop. We switched this year form paper to computer and so one thing we are looking into is if you marked questions did it not score them (Laughing Your Way said on real boards you had to unmark for them to be submitted). It definitely is a motivator to me.

oh crap well that could explain it. I had marked like 10-15 of them

There is some questionable stuff in the front matter of Laughing Your Way. The offical ABP tutorial (that you can try yourself online) states that "If you forget to release a question it will be scored using your tentative answer."

Why would the ABP institute a different "Hold" system on the ITE than it does on the real deal? It would have to be a glitch if that is truly the case.
