Maybe, but not necessarily. At my school, Peds is by far the hardest rotation. The clerkship director was like a heat-seeking missle - he wouldn't let up! You learned a lot but it was PAINFUL. 😱

It wasnt difficult at all, it was just a serious pain in the ass... boring as hell, horrible attending on the ward, downright sick of all the screaming in clinic, it goes on and on...

I had to give a shot to a little girl the other day. 🙁

The trauma, the crying... and it was pretty rough on her too.
