1)I went to Barnes and Noble(the main one ) in Manhattan yesterday...I saw the small Osler medical hand book (has about 1000 small page) I didnt buy it because it didnt have the word geriatrics in the index nor the table of contents. Other then that it didnt look too bad... Also has some other photos of Osler that I havent seen

2)Questiion-- Where else can you find Oslers nodes other then infective endocarditis???

3)Also -What is Oslers manuever..?

You are obviously able to get online if you were able to post this message. Also I am sure you must have heard about search engines by now...typing in 'osler's maneuver' in google gave me almost 8 thousand hits.

Contrary to what you may have heard in the past from your spoon-feeding teachers, there ARE such things as stupid questions.

My teachers always say " there are no stupid questions, only stupid people"........after they say this in front of the entire class no one else asks a question for the rest of the day!

1)Yes I go back and forth with my folks about that statement..

2)Also for those who didnt notice there are 2 questions there (to add some levity).. ***WHERE ELSE CAN ONE FIND OSLERS NODES, beside infective endocarditis??..
The "critical guy", couldnt answer the question google or no google!!!..
[I bet he never forgets after this]

Trivia- Oslers nodes appear similiar to E. nodusum except they are on the fingers and toes..
