You are invited to participate in a pilot survey for an academic research study called “Becoming A Doctor and The Opioid Epidemic.” It is a survey about opioid use disorder and various approaches and interventions to treatment. If you are 18 or older and currently enrolled in an MD program in the 2021 – 22 academic year, you are eligible to participate.

About this Survey:
  • Participation is voluntary and your participation is completely confidential.
  • The survey takes approximately 15 minutes to complete and is best taken on a laptop or desktop computer (not a cellphone).
  • This pilot study will test the survey instrument and briefly solicit your feedback at the end regarding about survey content and flow.
  • Only 20 pilot responses will be collected and of those, 3 participants will be randomly selected to receive $10 electronic Starbucks gift cards. You must complete the entire survey and provide your contact information in order to be entered into the raffle. The survey link will become inactive once 20 completed responses are recorded.
  • This study has been approved by the Institutional Review Board at the University of Nevada, Reno (#1796550-1)

I just want to clarify because we have received a report about this post. In the last year or so we have made the decision to allow IRB-approved research surveys such as this to be posted in the relevant forums. As this user has been verified and the survey is IRB-approved, we will leave the post here :)
