It's officially May 15th (here on the East Coast, at least).

How many of us are going to spend the next couple of weeks obsessively checking the phone for missed calls?

I hope everyone who is wait listed and hoping for that call gets it!!!!

According to a letter carrier that I know, they already have a GPS tracker on them. That way "big brother" can know their every move. All you need to do is to tap into the feed that the device gives out to know where the acceptance letter is at this point.

Good luck to all that are waiting. I did my part by canceling all but one acceptance back in December. There was no reason for me to hold onto more than one.

Count me in. I set up my phone a while back so it pings whenever I get a new email. The problem is that it's not account specific, so it will go off whether I get an email in my school account, regular gmail account, med school app gmail account, or blog account. Then when it actually says Inbox (1) in my med school app gmail, it's usually Expedia telling me about their travel deals, or United Airlines giving me a breakdown of their specials I just recently set up some email filters, so hopefully that helps.

For those of you that have not yet gotten an acceptance, good luck.

To those of you that have gotten an acceptance and those that will, the scary part is that it gets worse. Come fall of MS4, you check your phone for interview invites so compulsively it borders on pathologic.

Oregon Health & Science University does this, but they aren't reporting movement yet, so he/she must be waiting on another school.

Keep in mind that it might take schools another week or so just to get everything in order and determine exactly how many people have decided to withdraw their acceptance. So if you don't hear anything today (or tomorrow or the day after), it's not really the end of the world. At least, that's what I'm going to keep telling myself 🙄

Me too! I felt PUMPED for May 15th and now i'm like... 👎 . I knew it was highly unlikely that I was going to get any news today but still... ugh.
