There was a spider on my phone and I used an issue of JAMA to kill it.

I put JAMA in the bathroom and people think I actually read it in there. 👍 I used to try to keep up with it, though... Before 2nd year started and they buried me in craploads of work.

I use it as a sleeping agent.

I only read JAMA for the pictures.

(Seriously, though, the essay on the cover art is usually pretty good. I also read the patient info page in back because I can actually understand that)

haha!
After about the 2nd issue I got during my 1st year of school, that was the only thing that I read in JAMA.

oh i also read the "A Piece of My Mind" essay, because that's usually an interesting read about a doctor's experience.

That's a lot better use than my old issues of National Geographic used to get during high school...

I use it as a paperweight. Literally. It pins my Neuro notes to my coffee table. My cat has an obsession with my Neuro notes and likes to eat/scatter/destroy them. Several issues of JAMA solve that problem for me.
