Hello

I am currently signed up to take the pcat jan 19th. i signed up in late sept, thinking that i would be able to prepare myself well enough in three months, but (surprise surprise)... i don't feel very confident and the test is only two weeks away!

if i did take it again in june, how does that work- because many of the schools i'd be applying to put out and start accepting their apps in june also. can we send in our apps before we get the test results and then send the results seperate once we receive them? on pharmcas, is there an option to put 'june 08 test results not received yet'- so we can still submit the app without any probs? thanks a lot.

yes, you can still submit your apps in june WITHOUT the test results. it will just cause a bit of a delay since it takes 6 weeks for the results to be sent to the schools you indicated when you signed up for the test. PharmCAS will send out the test scores once Harcourt sends it to them. Yes, on PharmCAS, there is a place where you can specify the month/year you plan to take the test AND you do not have the score at the time you enter it in PharmCAS.

I'm in the same boat, I'll be taking the test in summer of my junior year and apply during my senior year. Will it hurt my chances of getting into pharmacy school at all taking by taking the test in the summer (assuming that I do well on the test and all)?
