Ok, let's examine this. I am completely fine with a little "Luck Fight" but you my friend have no chance. Think about it. You have done two things wrong.

1.) You started the thread much to early. I would have wated until at least midday. By doing this you have mistakenly fooled people into thinking they have a shot at receiveing news today.

2.) IT'S THANKSGIVING!!!!!

Regardless of who started the thread, I bet some folks get some good news that they can be thankful for on Thursday. I know while I'm eating my ridiculously large meal I'm going to give some props to whatever powers that be that I've been fortunate enough to get to this point and have had the good fortune that I've had.

That said, I will still check my email and snail mail compulsively until I fly home.

JDAD has been nothing but my good luck charm. That thread brought me two interviews last week!!!

For this next week, I hope I get interviews in places where I can actually get to without flying. Otherwise, I may go broke before, as opposed to after, med school!

(JDAD: the vandy interview was soooooo awesome. My interviewer was a total sweetie, and I really really love how happy and laid back the students were. Good luck!)

JDAD rocks and many people had interview invites or acceptances. I would think, other than a holiday week, there was a greater chance of good news as time goes by.

BTW, are admissions offices open for interviews during school breaks? I want to schedule some of my interviews then if i can.

I would very much doubt that there would be interviews during Thanksgiving. As for the Christmas break, I think most schools stop interviewing around the 15th of December and then start up again around the second week in January.

You're right, I was half trolling for the luck fight and half just wishing everyone a great week/Thanksgiving. Even so, with the shortened week for good news it also shortens the week for bad news!

Well I've gotten 5 rejections total, and 1 secondary invite, in the last weeks. So I've got to post on here too, just for the added luck! 🙂 I guess we probably won't here much this week, but maybe if I start rubbing the good luck thread now, perhaps all the luck will build for next week.
