i didn't even know this was possible--i though it was just acceptances, high-priority wait-list, and wait-list. Did anyone else get rejected post-interview from jefferson? or did i just do something incredibly terrible, and they thus rejected only me.

I thought my interviews went well, i thought i was well qualified, and i loved the school. and i wrote them a letter telling them i would go there if accepted. i said i would withdraw my other offers (of which i have two), and accept there's. maybe there was something wrong with that, i don't know.

i'm gonna write to dr. callahan and ask her if she can give me any indication of why my application was veiwed so unfavorably... we'll see what she says...

also, the rejection letter was ridiculous. it made no sense grammatically:

"The committee on admissions, after carefuil review of your application and interview, regrets to inform you that your application for admission to Jefferson Medical College 2005 enetering class has found it necessary to discontinue consideration of your application."

yeah. it actually said that the committee regrets to tell me that my application has decided to reject me. wow.

med schools arent like prospective dating partners. i dont believe that you can come on too strong, esp at this point. just see what dr callahan says. whatever happens, you have two other acceptances.

My sympathy goes out to you bro. Seemed like you did the right things, I did the same stuff and got a waitlist. Maybe it was something you said during your interview or in your letter.

Sounds like you dodged a bullet there. Did you interview anywhere else?
