Jefferson Secondary Crime question

One of the questions on Jeffersons secondary is:

8. Have you ever been convicted of a crime other than a minor traffic or parking violation? If you answer yes, please provide an explanation in the space provided.

What I'm confused on is if Reckless Driving (by speed) is considered a crime or not? It is a Class I Misdemeanor in my state (and i was found guilty).

Any thoughts??

Yup, since it's a misdemeanor, they would want you to list it. (As opposed to the minor traffic and parking violations which are infractions or less) Just explain that it was simply due to a bit of speeding and you'll be fine.
