Anyone know anything about this program? Specifics? How does it compare to other jersey internal med programs? Are residents happy? Is it a nice hospital? Overall feel etc? Thanks much🙂

As a medical student rotation through there... The hospital is great. New buildings and lots of current improvements. Staff is very nice. A lot of the medicine residents there were foreign grads and DOs, but not all. Patients are a little "boring" (mostly your bread and butter elderly with CHF or PNA. Few "exciting" cases.) Great environment, great facility, great staff, mediocre learning experience. On the plus side, you are 1 block from the beach.

I would like to know more about this program if anyone knows, please? It doesn't matter if it's positive or negative (I need honest opinions), I have an IV coming up there in Nov, so I would appreciate if someone who knows about this program can share a little bit. If you don't feel comfortable posting it here, you can PM me.

I've heard a couple things about the hospital. First, most of the nurses are DTF, but a lot of them are what Ronnie would call double baggers. Second, they have a pretty strict shirt and tie dress code for morning rounds. But after 2pm and all day on weekends...T-shiiiiiiiiirrrrrrrrrrtttttt Tiiiiiiiimmmmmmeeeee!!!!

would love any new input as well. Feel free to PM if you don't feel like posting, thanks!
