Extra-Curric: Created a COVID-19 Neighborhood Assistance Group to assist my community with the hardships of Corona. Volunteered for years taking care of someone that is diagnosed with Sanfilippo Syndrome. Assisted with the "Dia Blanco" or "White Day," an event in honor of people with disabilities (OT Abroad). Assisted with the "Proyecto Adulto Mayor 2018," a project focused on improving fine motor skills in elderly through baking (OT Abroad). I also grew up with the profession because my aunt is an OT in Colombia.
Applied to: Brenau, Shenandoah University, Thomas Jefferson University, University of St. Augustine, and JMU
Going to: JMU!
