Yesterday I got approached by a recruiter from a biotech company IPO-ed last year specializing in oncology and rare disease for a PK scientist position.
It seems like I am the perfect fit for it, since the recruiter highlighted my mathematical & programming strength on top of PharmD and previous experience in industrial PKPD. But one concern that kinda bothers me is that I found similar positions would usually ask for experience with Phoenix WinNonlin, but for obvious licensing reasons, it is very damn hard to get a hold of it, even in an academic lab with a PKPD research focus (the lab was not well funded, so we mostly relied on free stuff like ADAPT). So far, I have only managed to find some training videos for the mrgsolve R package, which I think is pretty easy to use and learn. But just in case they might ask for WinNonlin, anyone has any suggestions regarding where I can get something to read or watch to at least get some feel of it?
