I have a serious girlfriend who I would likely ask to move with me.

Do you all think it would be okay if I ask potential employers if she can come with me to interviews (and specifically fund her airfare)?

I was thinking that this should be okay if I tell them she may make the move.

Thanks!

Agree with above on waiting until the 2nd interview. Typically they will offer to bring spouse/significant other. I don't think you need to share the bit about her possibly moving in, personally. I think you could simply ask "would it be alright if I bring my significant other? This is a decision we are making together." Or something to that effect.

As a past and current recruiter for a large private practice, for a first visit we'll only cover costs for the interviewee. Until you decide that the job prospect is viable enough that you would consider moving, it's a moot point.

thx for the great advice
