So I applied to be a RA this summer because free housing and food for two months. Not only that, but I'll be paid a little bit too.

The thing is... I'm doing summer Orgo for 6 weeks. The first 3 weeks should be okay (retaking) and then the next 3 not so much.

The position comes with 20 hours of work a week. I honestly don't know what. Maybe introducing residents to the hall?

Is it doable? I will probably push aside all the other little things I planned to do too (volunteering, etc) for these 6 weeks.

You should be fine. It will be a good test of you time management skills. Medical school is a lot of class time plus clinical experiences so get used to balancing multiple things right now.

If you can't do orgo & be an RA, I'd hate to see how you are in ms1. this should be easy for you

True, but it goes so fast and I didn't do so hot my first time.
Plus, I've heard horror stories of summer Orgo. 😀

20 hours should be fine. If it were 40 hrs/week on the other hand, that would be much more difficult.

Absolutely doable. Just keep yourself busy and get rewarded with an A or better.
