Hey guys, I am done with school from now till the middle of May before I take a final vacation before med school hell starts 🙂. In the meantime I was wondering if there were any jobs that you know of that one could work at full time for a little over a month and quit without seeming like a complete a-hole? I'm just looking to fill time and make some cash for the summer, any suggestions?

None that I know of. Unless you don't mind lying, and as you said, being an a-hole. Do you have any family members/relatives/family friends that might be able to hook you up short-term?

The only job I can think of is tutoring, but there are few opportunities to tutor in the summertime, and most tutoring jobs are part time. You could always work at a coffee shop. They probably wouldn't care if you quit after a few months.

I was in a similar situation a little while ago (in a place for 1.5 months, needed money). My advice: go low, and don't let your pride get in the way

The economy's bad right now so you can't be picky. I bagged groceries and worked the cash register for that time. Get your CV out there ASAP because it will take them a week or two to get you set up, and for the love of God don't call it a CV if you are in the United States, call it a résumé. Don't put that you graduated from university, tell them you're still in it. Then work your bum off for the time you can work and get in as many hours as you can. Give them a week notice or so and I think that's ok

Good luck

Hmmm... how about an odd jobs posting on craigslist?
