Journals and Publications

Hi everyone,

I have heard that publications and journals build a good resume for admissions into dental school. I want to know what are the best index to publish our articles and any other suggestions regarding publications. Can anyone help me regarding this ?

Well, I am not sure if you are talking about the impact factor or something else. Research isn’t a requirement for admission. It’s all about how you present yourself, how honest and touching is your SOP and how good Lors you have. If you can get published in the journal, that will be a plus, especially if they will see how hard and passionate you worked on your research. The only school that cares a lot about research is Boston, but it’s just my opinion.
